If a part of the prompt doesn't work, don't use it. Or change it. Mix and match. It's to spark an idea, not beat your head into stone. Also, the suggested genre is just that, suggested. You don't have to. I usually suggest genres as a fun thing -- it breaks you out of your usual genre in a fun and non pressured way. It's okay to mangle it. Or you may find out you're pretty darn good at it ....
