Wish fullfilment -- give your character the kind of holiday you've always wished you had, from any age.
Option 2
Re-write The Grinch that Stole Christmas.
Re-write Santa's story, and make Santa and Rudolf evil.
Re-write any traditional holiday story, using the POV of the bad guy -- and making him the good guy.
Option 3
Re-write history so that 'god/godess' was infact an alien, and The Word handed down in the sacred texts had a hidden agenda.
Option 4
You're main character dies and goes to heaven or hell (depending on what is worse for him).
