Your Monday Morning MuseMuggers Prompt
Muse Mugger's idea #84
Option 1: word lists. Also, for each word used from this list, also use a word or phrase the word reminds you of. "Dingy" makes you think of "Cobwebs", so both would be in your story.
"demonstrate" "fantastic" "because of you" "suggest" "somber" "under my bed" "harmonize" "dingy" "instead of laughing" "fortify" "jovial" "through the window"
Option 2: Write PI or a sonnet:
Italian Sonnet
The Italian Sonnet is made up of fourteen iambic pentameter lines in an eight and a six-line stanza, each with a specific rhetorical slant: the first stanza poses a question or problem which the second stanza answers or resolves. The rhyme scheme is as follows:
stanza 1: abba abba
stanza 2: cdecde or cdcdcd
or
English Sonnet
The English (or Shakespearean) Sonnet has a different purpose. A problem is posed in the first four-line stanza, is further developed in another four-line stanza, then is reconsidered or answered tentatively in the next four-line stanza, and finally is answered definitively in a final couplet. The rhyme scheme is as follows:
stanza 1: abab
stanza 2: cdcd
stanza 3: efef
stanza 4: gg
or
write to PI. (first 1000 numbers of pi)
Writing to pi means this. The first number in the number pi is 3, so the first word in your story has to have three letters in it. The second number in pi is 1, so the second word in your story has to have one letter in it. The third number in pi is 4, so the third word has to have 4 letters in it.
A different way to write a story to pi is this: The first sentence in your story needs to have 3 words in it. The second sentence in your story needs to have 1 word. The third sentence needs to have four words in it
Option 3: one or more:
